A new artist for the Triple Post today, feast your ears on Rustie

This song has so much energy, yet at the same time it has a very laid back chill feel. Be sure to hear the 'drop' at 3:33, good stuff. From the first drop at :28, to the last one at 2:16, this song kept my head nodding. There's not much I can say about this tune, fantastic drops and that high pitched voice and claps that're so prevalent throughout the album. Overall it's a great album that showcases his unique style of dubstep. You can follow him on twitter and while you're at it you can follow the DubstepLog twitter here. That's it for this Tuesday, see you tomorrow where I'll be dropping the B-side to yesterday's late post.

Today's Triple Post dedicated to the one and only Gooral

First song I ever listened to of his, the moment that flute kicks in with the rain stick in the background I knew I was in for a world of sound. It's the vocals that make this song for me, a beautiful falsetto is not something heard in electro often. The piano is so moving in this track, it's almost too good for words. The way it leads into the bells at :31 is phenomenal. Then the wub comes in 1:02 and it's smooth sailing from there on out. Love this track!

Today's Triple Post, a mashed up dubstep rendition of Outkast (And a free download!)

These three are in order that they came off the EP (I think, posting from work without sound). I think the artist could've done a bit more to remix the tunes and acapellas, but they're all a fantastic listen nonetheless.

On this song the acapella was slowed down tremendously, which you can especially hear in the chorus. It's an awesome track though, and leads us into our final song this Tuesday.

This is my favorite tune this Tuesday, the way the acapella almost perfectly matches is fantastic. A great way to end this Tuesday.

Overall the EP is great, and you can grab it from the album bandcamp page here.

Re: Dubstep Guns

This is one of the songs from last Saturday's short, Dubstep Guns. They've also released an EP that you can download here, http://goo.gl/VFtKb (link is straight from their soundcloud).

Re: Zomboy

Just found this one on the beatport top 10. Released on August 8th, this should've been included in Monday's post, so consider this a bonus post leftover from then.

Today is a triple post dedicated to a great new artist, Zomboy

First up is his disgustingly dirty disco, a bass heavy banger that grabs you from the very beginning and drops you into oblivion at 0:47. The synth at 2:08 is worth listening to.

Now we get to what some say is Zomboy's greatest strengths, remixes. Listen to this and see for yourself.

Step 1) Sample Mr Spell
Step 2) ???
Step 3) Profit

Found a couple gems in the soundcloud today.

We'll start off with the lesser known of the two. Also I can't embed the second one, so yeah.

ON/OFF by Buttress Root Drumming

So that one's a bit more of a classic dubstep, but what really got me was the trumpet line coming in at 2:25. This next one is classified as glitch-hop/midtempo, but it has some of the sickest drops I've ever heard. Like I said, I can't embed so hit the jump.

Ending tonight just like it started. But this one's even better.

Once I heard the synth kicking in at 30 seconds, I knew this was gonna be epic. But Jesus H. Jones, Pam!

Where did my face go?

Just found Cookshanks livestreaming, you have to get in here!

The bass lover in you will thank you.

Kicking off tonight with a Nitty, Gritty, Dirty, and Filthy tune, gets amazing at 2:52

Bassnectar leaves the scene falling all over itself.

Bassnectar was in town yesterday, and I'd been dieing since December to see him, and in hindsight I should've bought it a lot earlier, but it turns out I waited too long and he sold out the day before I was to buy them. But I'll see him in a couple months at Bonnaroo. Night show, fuck yeah! This vid is a compilation of his 2010 tour set to one of my favorite tunes of his, "Falling" featuring Paper Machete with the vocals.

Oh that I just had to post this.

Last post for the night, here's Mt Eden's "Oh that I had". I was jamming to this in the car earlier when I came up with a good home page design that I'll incorporate in the coming week. Really happy with the way this blog is coming together! Thanks for all the support dudes.

Kinected to the bassline.

The potential here is just amazing. This may just make me buy a kinect.

Grindy as the morning commute, check this Printerstep out

Absolutely rocking track came on while I was blogging, naturally I have to post it

Searching dubstep on twitter and got 2 new artists to watch.

First up is DJ EzMoney, who's been spinnin tables for 15 years now. He's broadcasting right now, and taking requests! We also have a teaser tune from CameronKush so hit that down there before heading to the show, the drop at 1:22 is woorrrthhh ittt.

I was gonna sit on this, but then I thought of that pun and had to use it.

I am of course talking about the new logo. I finished it up a couple minutes ago. I'm happy with the way it turned out, it's a lot like my original sketch, and there could even be a v3 if I feel so inclined.

I'm not entirely sold on the text, I tried to give it a sort of branded effect. Let me know what you like and don't!
And I couldn't find anything log-ish, but how about some filthy-ass dubstep from Belgium? This is N.K.O's LumberJack, and this is his soundcloud page. (close enough?)

Until next time,

Fred

Might I introduce, the Wob Log v1!

Spent 5 minutes in mspaint getting an idea for a logo together and this is where I ended.

Check back later tonight after I revise and unveil v2!

Let's get this log rolling with a classic.

Hey dudes, Fred here.

I'm starting this dubstep blog as a means to get into the industry. I've been a listener of dubstep since I heard this song back in November of '09. In the coming week I'll do some work on a custuom layout as well as logo. The Log is about 10 minutes old now, and I'm posting this from work.

So until next time,

Fred
